Beach Volleyball comes to the banks of the Clyde

The Glasgow River Festival is hosting the Scottish Masters Beach Volleyball Event from 18th – 20th July this year at the SECC. The Festival attracts tens of thousands of visitors each year along the banks of the River Clyde. This year, beach volleyball joins in the festivities, which will be run by Urban Events and Beach Volleyball Scotland (part of the Scottish Volleyball Association)

The event will begin at 3pm on Friday 18th July with beach volleyball coaching for under-16s. This will be followed by the qualifying rounds of a 4-a-side tournament, which will finish Saturday morning. (To take part in either of those events, please use the attached forms).

The scene is set for some top class beach volleyball, so please come and support or take part in what should be a fantastic weekend!

Full Schedule:

Friday 18th July

1500 - 1630 – Beach Kids

1630 - 2030 (approx) – Beach 4s (qualifying rounds)

Saturday 19th July

0900 - 1000 – Beach Kids

1000 - 1200 – Beach 4s (semis & finals)

1200 – 1800 (approx) – Elite tournament

Sunday 20th July

0900 - 1000 – Beach Kids

1000 - 1800 (approx) – Elite semis, 3/4 playoffs & finals
