| Grampian Open Cancelled for 2008 and East Lothian Open Venue Changed |

Unfortunately the organisers of the Grampian Open, which was planned for 13th September 2008, have decided not to run their inaugural event this year due to work commitments. Instead they plan to run it in 2009 and are looking forward to being able to dedicate enough time next year to put on a great event. If anyone has already entered this event, please contact the SVA Office for a refund. Also, the forthcoming East Lothian Open will now not be in East Lothian, but at Portobello instead on both the 6th and 7th September. The format will be the same as last year with Men’s and Women’s Division One and Two plus Junior 2-a-side events and mixed 4-a-side being held on the Saturday only. For those who want 2 days of beach volleyball, there is also the opportunity to play in the mixed 2-a-side event on the Sunday.
